This is my eyebrow after some lady (who charged me $21) maimed it. I have no words for the wise here, no lessons to learn. How could I have anticipated that, in all my years of waxing, some random person would rip my skin off? How can you tell if someone's going to do this just by looking at her (evil) face? You can't, so, my friends, my only piece of advice (I actually DO have some words now) is: get a recommendation from a friend who's had good work done somewhere and go there. Not to Extreme Salon on 3rd Ave between 88th and 89th Sts in New York City.

Oh my gosh! That is so traumatic. I'm really, REALLY sorry! Here are the places I'd recommend:
Shobha for threading (any location is good, but I like the one on Madison Avenue)
Exhale (expensive but WORTH it)
Completely Bare (The Madison Ave location is small but very comfortable, and every single person there does an AMAZING job)
Bliss 49 (the best of any Bliss location, and again, the service is outstanding)

OMG that is AWFUL Linds! I cannot believe that a). that chick did that to you and b). actually had the nerve to still charge you for it!
